Terms of Service

1. Who we are

AIStackWatch is operated by Cheng Xie (谢成), an individual doing business as AIStackWatch ("AIStackWatch", "we", "us"). AIStackWatch operates aistackwatch.com, an intelligence station for AI builders. The Service includes editorial news coverage, a catalog of AI tools and companies, comparison pages, a wiki, downloadable datasets, an email newsletter, and a paid Pro subscription currently offered as early access. 2. The Service

Most of the Service is free to read without an account. The features included in the paid Pro plan are described on the Pricing page. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time; where a change materially affects a paid plan we will give reasonable advance notice.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Pro is billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle at the prices shown on the Pricing page, and renews automatically until cancelled.

Payments are processed by our merchant of record partner, which acts as the seller of record for the transaction, handles checkout, and collects and remits applicable sales taxes, VAT, or GST. The name of the merchant of record may appear on your receipt and bank statement.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing support@aistackwatch.com or, once self-serve billing is live, from the subscription management portal linked in your receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy, including a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time Pro purchases.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service at rates that degrade it for others, and do not circumvent technical or access restrictions.
• Do not resell, redistribute, or republish substantial portions of the Service as a competing product. Sharing short excerpts with attribution and a link is welcome.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

6. Content and intellectual property

Our editorial content, curation, datasets, and site design are owned by AIStackWatch and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party product names, logos, and trademarks referenced on the Service belong to their respective owners; references are for identification and commentary only and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

News coverage links to the canonical source. We do not republish third-party source content wholesale.

7. Disclaimers

The Service provides editorial and informational content only. It is not legal, tax, financial, investment, or other professional advice. Tool capabilities, prices, and policies tracked by the Service change frequently and may contain errors or omissions; always verify against the official source before making decisions.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIStackWatch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on the Service. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts of China unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
